PIPE CREW – Pipe Layer/Hillman/Tailman

Pipe Layer: Enforce safety requirements at all times. Install and assemble underground sewer, water, reuse, force main, and storm drain pipe. Set structures. Direct and train Tail Man. Communicate effectively with Pipe Foreman and crew members. Measure and mark pipe for cutting. Understand and participate in planning the production schedule. 3 years previous experience required. Pay based on experience. Must have reliable transportation. Tail Man: Enforce safety requirements at all times. Install and assemble underground sewer, water, reuse, force main, and storm drain pipe. Prepare pipe for installation including beveling, installations of retainers, mastic, etc. Safely rig pipe and structures for lifting and placement in ditch. Communicate effectively with Pipe Foreman and crew members. Measure and mark pipe for cutting. Understand and participate in planning the production schedule. 3 years previous experience required. Pay based on experience. Must have reliable transportation.
