PIPE CREW – Pipe Layer/Hillman/Tailman
Pipe Layer:
Enforce safety requirements at all times.
Install and assemble underground sewer, water, reuse, force main, and storm drain pipe.
Set structures.
Direct and train Tail Man.
Communicate effectively with Pipe Foreman and crew members.
Measure and mark pipe for cutting.
Understand and participate in planning the production schedule.
3 years previous experience required.
Pay based on experience.
Must have reliable transportation.
Tail Man:
Enforce safety requirements at all times.
Install and assemble underground sewer, water, reuse, force main, and storm drain pipe.
Set structures.
Communicate effectively with Pipe Foreman and crew members.
Measure and mark pipe for cutting.
Understand and participate in planning the production schedule.
3 years previous experience required.
Pay based on experience.
Must have reliable transportation.
Hillman:
Enforce safety requirements at all times.
Prepare pipe for installation including beveling, installations of retainers, mastic, etc.
Safely rig pipe and structures for lifting and placement in ditch.
Communicate effectively with Pipe Foreman and crew members.
Measure and mark pipe for cutting.
Understand and participate in planning the production schedule.
3 years previous experience required.
Pay based on experience.
Must have reliable transportation.

Work Environment:
Work is performed outside in varying types of environmental conditions. The requirements of this position involve extended periods of strenuous physical activity under various field and weather conditions. Applicant must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.
