Building Maintenance Tech II

This position can pay up to $22.00 based on experience, plus company benefits. We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Building Maintenance Technician II.What will you be doing most days?Wear provided brand-standard uniform, identification, required footwear, and protective equipment to prevent injuryAdhere to all safety and security guidelines regarding equipment safety, guest safety, and safe chemical handlingChange HVAC filters and preform minor HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairsEnsure fire life safety systems are functioning and operationalPerform a wide variety of preventative maintenance dutiesInspect and clean up in rooms after working in them and ensures they are in adherence with company standardsPick trash throughout the propertyEnsure all maintenance equipment is properly functioning and maintainedRespond in a timely manner to all maintenance emergenciesPaint walls, ceilings, doors and window trim as neededEnsure guest laundry washers, dryers, vending machines, and common areas are cleaned twice dailyWhat are the requirements for this position?• You have FSD Certification or are capable of completing the company sponsored certification requirements within the first 6-8 months of employment• You have the ability to take a company sponsored Pool Operator class and pass the accompanying exam• You are currently working as a Building Maintenance Technician I for at least 1 year or have at least 1-2 years' experience in a related field• You possess a general knowledge of hand tools and maintenance procedures• You can work well with others in a guest and team-focused environment• You have strong time management capabilities and can accomplish quality, detailed work within established parameters• You have customer service skills and are able anticipate guest needs, greet and acknowledge guests, and respond to guest requests to ensure guest satisfaction• You have an action orientation and can deliver the desired outcomePhysical Requirements for this PositionThis is a physically demanding position.
