Role Description The Data Insights Analyst (Remote, Entry-Level) at Focus - Gente e Gestão is a part-time role focused on supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this remote position, you will collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. You will assist in building basic dashboards and reports, helping transform raw data into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders. Day-to-day activities include running descriptive analyses, supporting hypothesis testing, and documenting methodologies and findings in an accessible way. You will collaborate closely with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to understand business questions, present results, and learn best practices in analytics and data storytelling.Qualifications Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret patterns, identify trends, and draw logical conclusions from data.Foundational experience or coursework in data analytics and data modeling, including working with structured datasets and basic query tools.Basic understanding of statistics, such as descriptive measures, correlation, and introductory hypothesis testing.Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences in writing and in meetings.Familiarity with spreadsheets and at least one analytics or visualization tool (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Entry-level role suitable for candidates with a relevant degree (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.Interest in continuous learning in data analytics and openness to feedback and mentorship from senior team members.
