ISDA Negotiator - Remote (East Coast Hours)

Overview:We are seeking a skilled ISDA Negotiator with expertise in ISDA's, and ideally MRA's, GMRA's agreements. This role involves negotiating complex financial contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with internal teams and external counterparties to mitigate legal risks. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with a major financial client and requires in-depth knowledge of legal documentation in the financial services sector.Key Responsibilities:Negotiate, draft, and review ISDA Master Agreements, MRA, GMRA agreements with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and trading teams, to streamline negotiation processes and ensure alignment with firm policies.Liaise with external counterparties and counsel to facilitate agreement finalization and resolve contractual issues.Required Qualifications:Experience: 3+ years in legal negotiation of financial agreements, with specific expertise in ISDA, MRA, GMRA, and Repo agreements.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field. J.D. or legal qualification is a plus.Skills: Strong understanding of derivatives and securities financing markets, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with U.S. financial regulations impacting derivative agreements.
