Job Overview:Location: 3109 Plant Water Road,Knoxville,Tennessee,37914Shift & Schedule. This position supports a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required based on business needs.The Process Engineer will support the Knoxville Manufacturing Site and report to the Senior Manager of Operations. This role plays a key part in identifying and eliminating waste across manufacturing operations. The Process Engineer will drive operational excellence through structured problem-solving, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate is passionate about optimizing processes, reducing variability, and improving productivity in a collaborative, hands-on manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate the eight wastes of lean manufacturing (downtime, defects, overproduction, motion, inventory, waiting, transportation, and underutilized talent)Lead and support structured problem-solving efforts (A3, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.) to drive root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actionsFacilitate and participate in kaizen events, Gemba walks, and other continuous improvement activitiesMonitor, analyze, and interpret process performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and throughputSupport development and implementation of standard work and visual management systemsAssist in training frontline team members on lean tools and continuous improvement practicesPromote and sustain a strong culture of continuous improvement throughout the facilityTotal Rewards:Targeted annual compensation range of $77,000–$97,000.This is a salaried, exempt position paid biweekly. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
