Disability Analyst
Key ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze case files containing financial information, medical and school records, and other pertinent information to assess the severity and impact of diagnosed impairments. Conduct interviews with caregivers to obtain necessary information regarding the functional impact of the child’s disabilities/impairments.Assemble necessary medical/educational documentation and complete forms to submit to SSA to support SSI childhood disability application. Maintain accurate records of actions taken regarding application and ensure compliance with specified confidentiality requirements.Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and stakeholder meetings to stay informed on policies, procedures, and best practices.Provide professional customer services to case workers, stakeholders, and other individuals, ensuring their questions and concerns are addressed with empathy and professionalism.QualificationsExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex medical information and follow governmental regulations.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present information clearly and professionally.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in using computer systems for document and data management.
