Application Developer III

We are seeking a high-level Application Developer III for the State of Mississippi. This is a critical onsite role in Jackson, MS, requiring a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead development and testing initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-stack development, database management, and implementing robust CI/CD practices within an Azure environment. Technical Requirements Candidates must meet the following minimum experience levels to be considered for the position: Software Development & Cloud (SME Level: 7+ Years) Microsoft Azure: Expert-level implementation and management. C#: Mastery of C# programming for enterprise applications. Web Technologies: SME-level proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, and YAML. DevOps: Expert experience with Azure DevOps Practices, CI/CD Practices, and Version Control (Git). Mainframe Integration: Familiarity with z/OS and Adabas Databases. Database & Data Management (Advanced to SME Level) SQL/SQL Server: SME-level knowledge of database systems and tools (7+ years). Data Engineering: Advanced experience (5-7 years) in Data Modeling, Schema Design, Data Migration, and API development. Quality Assurance & Testing (Advanced Level: 5-7 Years) Testing Methodologies: Advanced experience in Unit, Integration, and Manual testing. Test Leadership: Proven ability in Test Case Design, UAT Support, and acting as a Data Test Lead. Performance: Advanced skills in Performance Testing. Systems & Infrastructure (Intermediate Level: 3-5 Years) Operating Systems: Intermediate experience with Microsoft Windows Server. Hardware: Professional experience with Enterprise Server Environments and Developer Workstations. Preferred Skills & Experience Virtualization: Experience working with Virtual Machines (VMs).
