Role Description This is a hybrid role for a Tutor based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, with the flexibility to work partly from home. The Tutor will provide one-on-one or group academic instruction tailored to individual student needs, create customized lesson plans, and monitor student progress. Additional responsibilities include assessing learning gaps, offering constructive feedback, preparing students for exams, and maintaining open communication with students and their families. Qualifications Expertise in subject areas such as mathematics, English, science, or other educational fields relevant to the tutoring requirementsStrong teaching and instructional skills to adapt to diverse student learning stylesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and foster student engagementAbility to create lesson plans, assess student progress, and adjust teaching strategies accordinglyOrganized and self-motivated, with the ability to effectively manage time in a hybrid work environmentBachelor’s degree in education, a specific subject area, or related field; teaching credentials or certifications are a plusPrevious experience as a tutor or educator is highly preferredProficiency in remote learning technologies and online teaching platforms is an advantageA strong passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
