(The Site Manager has an additional in person interview round) Position Summary (Site Manager | Residential Services | Group Home Leadership) The Site Manager is responsible for the overall operation, leadership, and compliance of a residential program serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role oversees staff performance, resident care, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and quality assurance, while also providing direct care support when needed. The Site Manager serves as the primary leader of the home and works closely with the Area Director, HR, Quality Assurance, and external partners to ensure high-quality services aligned with Our House, Inc. and Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) standards. Requirements Essential Skills & Responsibilities Supervisory & Leadership Ensure direct care staff provide services aligned with residents' goals, objectives, behavior plans, and Individualized Habilitation Plans (IHP/ISP/ELP)Supervise, train, and evaluate residential staff; conduct orientation, assign duties, approve timekeeping, and administer corrective action as neededBuild staff potential through coaching, feedback, and developmentMake staff promotion, transfer, and demotion decisions in collaboration with the Area Director and HRServe as program on-call for staffing and program-related issues and provide coverage when necessaryHold monthly staff meetings and ensure residents participate in weekly house meetings Medication & Health Oversight Ensure medication administration complies with Our House, Inc. and Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) policies and proceduresMeet monthly with pharmacy to review and approve medication deliveriesOversee residents' medical care, appointments, and follow-up in accordance with OHI policyObserve residents for health concerns and respond appropriately to medical needs Administrative & Compliance Maintain residents' daily records and documentation in approved electronic systemsDevelop, maintain, and update electronic client records and household filesSet annual residence goals with the Area Director and ensure timely completionMeet with licensing inspectors and correct deficiencies promptlyAttend monthly supervision with the Area Director and address identified areas for improvementAttend monthly Manager MeetingsAssist with policy revisions, train staff on updates, and report personnel matters to HR Financial & Program Management Manage resident funds in compliance with Medicaid and agency guidelinesOversee budgeting, spending, and financial documentation for the residenceManage staffing schedules, documentation logs, activity planning, reports, maintenance coordination, and resident meetingsSubmit monthly client attendance reports by the 1st of each monthTrack resident overnight stays to ensure compliance with residential regulations External Collaboration Develop resident goals with the Interdisciplinary Team through IHP, ISP, or ELP processesMeet quarterly with DDD Case Managers for resident auditsCommunicate with residents' employers and day programs to monitor progress and participationCooperate fully with inspections or investigations conducted by Our House, Inc., Medicaid, or the Division of Developmental Disabilities Quality Assurance Report all incidents to Quality Assurance according to OHI and DDD policiesMaintain responsibility for the overall safety and well-being of residentsMonitor residence operations to ensure compliance with OHI Standard Operating Procedures, DDD Manual of Standards, and Medicaid requirementsIncorporate OHI philosophy into all aspects of program operation and staff trainingMonitor resident progress toward IHP/ISP/ELP goals through monthly reportingIdentify and address residents' individual needs (physical, psychological, social, religious, civil, legal, and financial)Identify community resources and support residents in accessing themAct as a special advocate for individual residents as needed Direct Care Responsibilities Transport residents using agency vehicles to appointments, shopping, and recreational activitiesProvide hands-on support with activities of daily living when necessaryTrain and support direct care staff in appropriate care techniques based on resident needs On-Call & Emergency Responsibilities Respond to site emergencies, staffing issues, and program concerns as neededWork scheduled shifts and additional coverage when requiredRespond promptly to calls, emails, texts, and other communications related to incidents and employee relations using the agency-provided work phoneQualificationsValid driver's license with an insurable driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check with minimal violationsMust have reliable transportation to and from work and be comfortable driving agency vehiclesAt minimum, a high school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalentMust be 21 years of age or olderDemonstrated experience in residential services, group home management, or supervisory roles within IDD or human services settingsAbility to respond to site emergencies and make sound decisions under pressureAbility to attend and successfully complete required paid training and maintain annual recertificationsStrong computer skills, including electronic documentation systems, email communication, and report preparationAbility to provide professional references Physical & Mental RequirementsAbility to assist residents with mobility and personal care when neededLift/Force Requirements: Constant 10 lbs | Frequent 25 lbs | Occasional 50 lbsStrong leadership, judgment, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work
