Direct Support Professional

TriSource is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide essential assistance to individuals with diverse needs in a group home setting.This role involves supporting residents in their daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. *Duties* * Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support * Monitor residents’ health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall well-being * Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans * Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal service while maintaining proper hygiene standards * Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe transfer techniques * Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning and sanitation tasks * Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations * Support residents during recreational activities, social engagement, and community outings * Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and family members to develop personalized care plans * Provide compassionate support to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, or other disabilities * Assist with patient monitoring during hospice or home health services * Ensure compliance with safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures * Engage in ongoing training related to patient care standards and regulatory requirements Schedules Available: * Full-time, 40 hours per week, Wed-Sat 10p-8a * Full-time, 30 hours per week, Sun-Tue 10p-8a * Full-time, 30 hours per week, Thu-Sat 10p-8a Position Requirements: * Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record * At least 6 months of experience preferred. Training Provided * Negative TB/PPD (can be provided) * CPR/FA/AED (can be provided) * Clean background #IND3 Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $17.00 per hour Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) License/Certification: * drivers license (Required) Work Location: In person
