Position: Interventional Radiologist (IR)Location: A well-established medical center in MarylandStart Date: June 2nd, 2025Contract Length: Ongoing until a permanent hire (estimated 1 year) Key Details:Schedule: Monday ??? Friday, 8 AM ??? 5 PM + night & weekend call coverageCoverage Need: Full-time; will piece together coverage with multiple providers (minimum of 1 week per month)Practice Setting: A highly regarded hospital system with state-of-the-art imaging facilities and a strong team-oriented culturePatient Population: All ages (neonates to geriatrics)Support Staff: Collaborate with experienced IR physicians and a well-trained medical teamCredentialing Timeframe: 60 days Procedures & Skills Required: - Bread and Butter IR Procedures - Competence in diagnostic imaging (MR, CT, US, Nuclear Medicine) ??? up to 25% of workflow if IR cases are low - Must be fellowship-trained in Interventional Radiology Requirements: - Board Certification in Interventional Radiology - Maryland State License (Required) - DEA & CSR (Required) - Certifications: BLS & ACLS (Required) - References: 1 professional (MD) & 2 peer references Additional Details: - Call Responsibilities: When working a day shift, the provider will take night and weekend call.
