Material HandlerWorld-class supply chain solutions for large and medium-size national and multinational companies across the globe is hiring in Goodyear, AZ.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Material Handler Details:Temp-to-Hire position$19.00 to $21.00 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredVarious shifts available1st Shift - 6am - 4:30pm2nd Shift - 6pm - 4:30amWork four 10-hour shifts Sunday-Wednesday, Wednesday Saturday, or Friday Monday.Overtime may be required in addition to the days listed.Manually load, unload, stack, and move freight, regularly lifting items up to 50 pounds repetitively, and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance or appropriate equipment.Operate manual material handling equipment, including hand trucks and pallet jacks.Utilize powered industrial equipment such as forklifts to transport cargo within the warehouse, with certification provided after hire.Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against shipping documents and accurately noting any damage, discrepancies, or missing items.Sort, organize, and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations.Operate RF scanners for inventory tracking and management.Material Handler Qualifications:Ability to frequently crouch, bend, stoop, reach, and lift heavy items.Must be able to stand and walk significant distances for the entire 10-hour shift.Must be able to consistently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout shift.Must be able to work in an indoor non-climate control environmentApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
