Communication skills/ability to read, write, and report clinical info to clients, family and other caregivers Vital signs – temp, pulse and respirations Infection control/Hazardous Waste Recognizing emergencies/Emergency Preparedness Maintenance of a clean, safe, and healthy environment Basic elements of body functioning and reportable changes Grooming (hair, nail, and skin care)QualificationsWhat You'll Bring:Ability to work in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner.Ability to provide personal care for non-ambulatory clients, use a Hoyer lift, maneuver wheelchairs, and transport clients to community events and social activities.Strong communication skills, oral and written; strong interpersonal skills.Ability to anticipate and resolve problems demonstrating good judgment.Education And ExperienceOne (1) year of experience working in homecareTwo (2) years nursing experienceMust be a Registered Nurse in the state of IndianaThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
