Energy MarshallWe are seeking an experienced Energy Marshall to oversee all energy management activities for our project, ensuring a safe, efficient, and incident-free operation. This role requires expertise in NFPA 70E standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and the ability to coordinate with trade contractors and site teams for safe energy management. Key Responsibilities: Act as the qualified person overseeing all energy management activities on the project. Ensure and promote an incident and injury-free environment. Review and approve Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and Access Permits (APs) to ensure all energy-related tasks are completed safely and correctly. Update plant status as needed, reflecting system readiness and energy status. Oversee LOTO procedures and energized systems, ensuring compliance with project safety standards. Understand and apply NFPA 70E requirements to mechanical and electrical work performed on-site. Mitigate the risk of unintended and unexpected release of energy by implementing and overseeing LOTO programs. Collaborate with trade contractors to develop MOPs for pressurizing, testing, integration, and system startups. Requirements: NFPA 70E Certification (required). Proven experience overseeing energy management and LOTO programs on complex projects. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and their interaction with energy safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret MOPs, APs, and site-specific procedures. Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate effectively with project teams and contractors.
