Travel RN - Med/Surg - Long Term Care

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) day shift position in Indianapolis, IN, requiring 2 years of recent Tele/LTAC experience and vent/trach competency.Job Details• Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting,• Unit: Chronic Care (LTAC/Telemetry),• Requires experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management,• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM,• Every other weekend required,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active IN RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand,• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted),• Minimum 2 years of recent Tele/LTAC experience in a hospital setting,• Vent/trach experience required,• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,• SSN and date of birth required for consideration,Additional Information• Responsible for shift accountability including planning, delegating, and supervising patient care in accordance with the Nursing Process and state Nurse Practice Act,• Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and clinical leadership in care delivery,• Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education,• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate,• Previous employment at any Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract) must be disclosed,
