Identifies and provides complete parts solutions for customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Knowledge of all parts in order to effectively help customers identify, order and receive necessary parts for repair of equipment offered for sale by the dealershipPromotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needsSupplies Service Technicians with parts as requiredAssists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displaysVerifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing orders in their proper inventory locations thus maintaining an accurate and complete inventoryAssists in keeping parts department clean and orderlyFollows up on shortages and issues by working directly with the Parts ManagerAssists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working orderPosition Qualifications:Basic data entry/keyboard skillsBasic parts and machinery knowledgeAbility to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer applicationAbility to work in a team environmentHigh School diploma or GED equivalentForklift license preferredStand for long periods of timeWalk, bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, graspingMajority of the job is completed during regular business hours, but some job duties may require flexible hoursAbility to lift at least 75 lbs
