PUBLIC HEALTH EDUCATOR

The Public Health Educator is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama Department of Public Health (www.adph.org). Positions are located throughout the state. Public Health Educators coordinate all public health education programs in a district or work in the central office and participate in the development and coordination of statewide public health education programs in a specific program area such as tobacco, cancer, injury, arthritis, bioterrorism, hazardous waste prevention, worksite wellness, or health promotion.
