Machine Operator

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join our plastics manufacturing team. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining plastic injection molding or extrusion equipment to produce high-quality plastic products while meeting production goals and quality standards.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**+ Operate plastic injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding machines.+ Set up machines according to production specifications and work instructions.+ Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments to maintain product quality.+ Inspect finished products for defects using visual inspections and measuring tools.+ Trim excess plastic, remove runners, and perform secondary operations as required.+ Package finished products according to customer specifications.+ Complete production reports and accurately record downtime, scrap, and production counts.+ Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.+ Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and notify maintenance of major mechanical problems.+ Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.+ Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.+ Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.**Qualifications**+ High school diploma or GED preferred.+ Previous manufacturing or plastics experience preferred but not required.+ Experience operating injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding equipment is a plus.+ Ability to read work instructions and production documentation.+ Basic math and measuring skills.+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.**Pay Details:** $14.00 to $14.50 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
