Help Grow Something.* Ontech Systems, Inc. is expanding its services throughout the Fox Valley, and we are looking for an experienced IT professional who wants more than a traditional Systems Administrator position. This is a unique opportunity to become a trusted technology partner for businesses throughout Appleton, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, and the surrounding area. You will provide hands-on technical support, manage ongoing client relationships, and help Ontech grow its presence in the region. You will not be doing this alone. You will be supported by Ontech’s Service Desk, project management, cybersecurity, sales, administration, and leadership teams. However, because you will be our primary representative in the Fox Valley, you should be comfortable working independently, making sound decisions, and building strong relationships with clients. You will get to know their businesses, understand their technology needs, coordinate the right Ontech resources, and help ensure they receive consistent, responsive service. You will also help strengthen Ontech’s presence in the area by representing the company professionally and developing relationships within the local business community. *What You’ll Do* _Provide Field and Technical Support_ * Deliver onsite and remote IT support to businesses throughout the Fox Valley * Troubleshoot server, workstation, network, cloud, and security issues * Install, configure, and maintain client technology environments * Support Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, and related services * Assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, deployments, and technology projects * Coordinate escalations with Ontech’s Service Desk, project, and cybersecurity teams * Respond calmly and professionally during service-impacting incidents * Maintain clear, complete, and timely documentation of client environments and completed work _Own the Client Relationship_ * Serve as a trusted technology advisor for assigned clients * Build productive relationships with business stakeholders and end users * Learn each client’s business priorities, technology landscape, and operational challenges * Communicate technical issues and recommendations in clear, practical language * Keep clients informed about service requests, projects, risks, and next steps * Coordinate internal Ontech resources to make sure client needs are addressed * Follow up with clients and take ownership through resolution * Contribute to account reviews, technology planning discussions, and client retention efforts _Help Grow Ontech in the Fox Valley_ * Represent Ontech professionally within the local business community * Develop relationships with current clients, prospective clients, and community partners * Recognize client needs that may be addressed through additional Ontech services * Introduce opportunities to the appropriate sales or leadership resources * Participate in selected networking events, client meetings, and community activities * Help Ontech better understand the technology needs of Fox Valley businesses * Support the continued development of Ontech’s local presence and reputation *The Technical Experience We’re Looking For* You do not need to be an expert in everything listed below.
