This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled machinist with strong experience operating Manual Horizontal Boring Mill machines and working with large equipment requiring close tolerances.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate a Manual Horizontal Boring Mill MachineSet up, align, and secure large parts using proper tooling and fixturesRead and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specificationsMake machine and tooling adjustments for a variety of custom partsPerform precision machining while maintaining exact tolerances and finishesUse precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection toolsVerify dimensions and quality of machined partsWork with large equipment and components using 4”–5” spindlesMaintain a safe and organized work environmentRequirementsMinimum 10 years of Manual Machining experienceStrong experience operating a Manual Horizontal Boring MillAbility to read and interpret complex blueprintsExperience machining large parts with close tolerancesProficient with precision measuring instrumentsStrong understanding of machine setup, tooling, and adjustmentsAbility to work independently and produce quality work efficiently
