Hardware Test Engineer

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 5 years industry experience supporting RF hardware testing or processing prototype-through-production hardware.Extensive experience with Linux and Python for test scripting and automation.Strong hands-on experience in RF hardware validation, characterization, and troubleshooting including lab setup and system integration.Knowledge of 5G NR fundamentals, cellular testing environments, and wireless data reception.Experience with digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and lab instrumentation.Knowledge of fine-pitch soldering, SMT rework, BGA packages, and hardware assembly.Preferred: RF test equipment exposure such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, noise figure systems.Responsibilities:Set up and support test configurations based on engineering specifications and develop new test setups.Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and power supplies.Perform hardware assembly, prototyping, and coordination with engineering teams.Conduct SMT rework on surface mount PCBs such as 0402, TSOP, SOJ, BGA, and FQFP packages.Support lab validation, firmware updates, and verification activities for hardware prototypes and final builds.
