Hardware Test Engineer

Qualifications:At least 5 years of industry experience as a hardware lab technician, ideally for RF hardwareLinux, Python for test programingStrong understanding of fine-pitch soldering, SMT rework, as well as BGA packagesProficient with digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and related toolsExperience with mechanical assembly for hardware prototypes through to productionKnowledge of Linux to control and interface with instruments is helpfulRF test experience with VNAs, noise figure systems, and spectrum analyzers is helpfulResponsibilities:Set up and support test configurations as defined by the engineering team as well as those developed on your ownOperate and maintain lab test equipment and toolsUpdate and manage firmware, drivers, and associated software for test instrumentationMechanical assembly of hardware prototypes as well as final buildsPerform SMT rework on surface mount PCBs, including 0402, TSOP, SOJ, BGA, and FQFP packages.
