Physical Security Coordinator
Job DescriptionFirst Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Physical Security Coordinator to join the team in the Security Department.CompensationThe pay range for this role is $20.00 - $26.00/hr; commensurate with experience.ScheduleMonday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:30PM (hours may vary)ResponsibilitiesIn this role, the Physical Security Coordinator will provide operational and administrative support to the Bank’s security department with a primary focus on physical security systems, access control support, and security-related documentation. This position supports the monitoring and maintenance of physical security systems, and ensures accurate recordkeeping in compliance with regulatory, legal and Bank requirements.The Physical Security Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the Security Department including invoice processing, document management, and coordination of security-related programs under the direction of the Security Manager.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience requiredAssociate's degree in criminal justice, security management, or relevant field preferred2 years of administrative or operational support experience required2 years of administrative experience in security, facilities, risk management, or a regulated environment with knowledge of security video and alarm technology or related experience preferredDepartment of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Guard Employee Registration ("Guard Card") strongly preferredStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules and competing deadlinesEffective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare correspondence, reports, and documentationProfessional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, contractors and law enforcement or legal representatives as neededProficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications; ability to learn additional security or enterprise systems as requiredAbility to exercise sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive informationDemonstrated attention to detail with consistent follow-through and accuracy in documentation and recordkeepingAbility to interpret, follow, and support policies, procedures, and regulatory or legal requirementsAbility to work effectively under pressure in time-sensitive or high-visibility situations
