Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Establishes priorities and dispatches specialists to maintenance jobs. Maintains close coordination between maintenance activities. Maintains constant radio contact with flightline vehicles dispatching specialists. Maintains control and status boards and keeps accurate internal records as required. Provides information and reports as required to the wing or higher headquarters. Uses CAMS and/or IMDS for status reporting. Provides link between contractor, base security and emergency response activities. May be occasionally required to perform duties of lesser skill classification. Qualifications and Experience High school diploma or equivalent is required; mathematics skills are desirable. Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language. Must be able to obtain and maintain clearance if required. Must be able to, if required, obtain and maintain a government driver's license. May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract where individual possesses required experience, training, and/or certifications. Member must demonstrate/possess a strong willingness and desire to learn. Current U.S. Driver's license required. Working Conditions Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties. Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
