Job Description Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Vernon Hills, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent organization, and hands-on experience with shipping systems, ERP software, and WaveRunner operation. This position plays a key role in maintaining shipping accuracy, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.Key Responsibilities:Accurately prepare, package, and process outgoing shipmentsCreate and verify shipping documentation (labels, bills of lading, packing slips)Input and track shipment data using ERP systems and shipping softwareGenerate daily and weekly reports for shipping and inventory activitySchedule carrier pickups and communicate effectively with logistics partnersReceive, inspect, and record incoming materials and deliveriesOperate WaveRunner and RF scanners to handle inventory and shipping tasksMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaSupport team goals and contribute to continuous process improvementsQualifications:Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferredMust have experience operating a WaveRunnerStrong computer proficiency, including ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelAbility to generate and interpret shipping/inventory reportsSkilled in using RF scanners and digital documentation toolsExcellent attention to detail and time managementForklift certification a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesJob Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hirePay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hourBenefits:Paid time offLanguage:English (Preferred)Ability to Commute:Vernon Hills, IL 60061 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Vernon Hills, IL 60061: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personCompany Description About Chase Technical:CHASE Staffing, formerly CHASE Professionals, is a US-based staffing firm with 20 branch locations and over 10,000 jobs filled in 2021.
