This role ensures programs are grounded in accurate, strategic, and optimized financial management. The Project Finance Manager partners with Project Management and Account Direction teams to oversee all financial aspects related to complex Events Projects. This role is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring 2-3 days per week in-office based out of Grand Prairie, TX or Philadelphia, PA.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesFinancial ManagementDevelop, manage, and forecast budgets for complex event programsConduct variance analysis, margin tracking, and scenario modelingSupport monthly close with revenue recognition inputs and KPI reportingLead reconciliation between client SOWs, budgets, and internal systemsCross-Functional PartnershipServe as the primary finance partner to Producers and Account LeadsCollaborate with Accounting and Operations on billing and invoicingSupport special financial projects and data integrity checksProcess & SystemsImprove financial workflows, templates, and reporting frameworksReview, analyze or build dashboards connecting financial results to operationsMaintain audit-ready documentationUse budgeting and accounting systems proficiently to support reporting processesAdditional DutiesMay mentor junior analysts as department scales, as neededParticipate in onboarding, training, and process optimization, as neededOther duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance; MBA preferredMinimum 7 years of experience in budget management, financial analysis, or client financeCertifications: MBA/CPA/CMA preferred but not requiredExperience in the Live Events industry strongly preferredMicrosoft Office (MS Teams, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint)Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts); proficiency in SAP and SalesforceStrong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skillsAbility to explain complex financial concepts in clear, client-friendly languageStrong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team playerTravel RequirementsTravel up to 25%What We OfferThe Freeman Company provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
