New Leaf Nutrition Counseling is a group practice based in Portland, Oregon serving clients primarily in Oregon and Washington. We are excited to have another dietitian join our team! Our practice is weight-inclusive, supporting people with a variety of nutrition counseling needs, with a specialization in eating disorder recovery.

About the Position:
This is a fully remote position that allows the clinician to work from home. This position starts part-time with the purpose to work up to a full-time caseload, provided appointments are available for a full-time caseload. A successful candidate for this position is someone who is ambitious, proactive, reliable, and has the ability to work independently. This position is great for a dietitian who is excited to work in private practice without having to deal with billing or tedious business tasks.
Job Qualifications:
Must live in Oregon, ideally in or around Portland.
Active Registered Dietitian license.
Active Oregon license. Ideal to have a Washington license as well. If not licensed in Washington, the employee's onboarding will include applying for licensure and will be paid for by New Leaf Nutrition Counseling.

Preferred 2 years of experience practicing as a dietitian with knowledge and experience working with folks with eating disorders.
Job Responsibilities:
Begin part-time, working up to full-time. Full-time is considered 80 or more clients seen per month. Candidates must have the availability to schedule 22 clients per week. Must be able to work until 6pm at least two days per week.
Provide person-centered nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy for people with various nutrition needs, including folks with eating disorders, PCOS, diabetes, neurodivergence, sports nutrition needs, and gut issues. Comfortability and experience working with teens and adolescents is a plus.
Complete administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, charting, and care coordination with client treatment team members (therapists, doctors, psych prescribers, etc).
Network and market services to grow caseload, including attending community events and meeting with other clinicians.
Attend staff meetings, supervision meetings, and trainings provided by New Leaf Nutrition Counseling.
Provide ethical care within the scope of practice as a Registered Dietitian.
