This caregiver position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life while remaining safely in their own homes.As a caregiver, home health aide (HHA), personal care aide (PCA), or companion caregiver, you will provide hands-on support, companionship, and household assistance that helps clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. We are looking for team members who are caring, trustworthy, patient, and committed to delivering exceptional home care services.Caregiver ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may vary based on the client's individualized care plan and may include:Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistanceMobility support, ambulation, and transfersMedication reminders for self-administered medicationsMeal planning and meal preparationGrocery shopping and errandsLight housekeeping and laundryChanging bed linens and maintaining a clean environmentCompanionship and emotional supportMonitoring client safety and well-beingReporting changes in physical or mental condition to supervisorsAccurate documentation of services providedCaregivers are expected to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassionate care at all times.QualificationsQualified candidates should possess:High school diploma or GED preferredCompletion of required orientation and caregiver trainingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently in clients' homesDependability, honesty, and professionalismCompassionate and patient-centered attitudeAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsReliable transportation preferredWillingness to participate in ongoing training and staff meetingsPrevious experience as a caregiver, home health aide (HHA), certified nursing assistant (CNA), personal care aide (PCA), direct support professional (DSP), or companion caregiver is preferred but not required.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesSuccessful caregivers demonstrate:Strong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesCompassion, empathy, and emotional intelligenceAttention to detail and confidentialityAdaptability and problem-solving skillsAbility to build positive relationships with clients and familiesWork Environment & Physical RequirementsThis position takes place in clients' homes and may require driving between assignments.
