This role is responsible for expanding market presence, strengthening existing client relationships, and developing new opportunities across architectural and construction sectors. The primary focus of this role is on building relationships with masonry, façade, and hardscape installers while also supporting specification development with architects and design teams.The position requires a strong understanding of the construction and design process, with the ability to engage architects, contractors, and specialty installers from early design through project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive revenue growth through proactive sales strategy and executionBuild and maintain relationships with contractors and installers, including masonry, façade, and hardscape tradesDevelop new business opportunities and expand existing client relationshipsIdentify, pursue, and bid new project opportunitiesReview drawings and specifications to identify scope and sales opportunitiesCoordinate internally to develop accurate and competitive proposalsEngage architects and specifiers to support product inclusion in project specificationsTrack specifications and help convert them into awarded projectsExpand the company’s presence into new geographic marketsMaintain and manage pipeline activity using CRMQualificationsExperience in construction product sales, particularly with contractors, installers, or specialty tradesEstablished relationships with masonry, façade, or hardscape contractors strongly preferredExperience working with architects and design teams is a plusProven ability to drive revenue growth and close project-based salesAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings and specificationsExperience using CRM systems (Zoho CRM preferred; Salesforce or HubSpot acceptable)Strong communication skills and professional presenceHigh level of integrity and accountabilityPreferred ExperienceBackground in architectural natural stone, masonry, precast, or related building materialsExperience in specification-driven sales environmentsProject management or coordination experience within constructionCompensationBase Salary: commensurate with experiencePerformance-based bonus/commission tied to revenue growth and gross marginAdditional incentives for new business development and market expansionBusiness development and approved travel expenses reimbursedAbout Blackhill GranitesBlackhill Granites is a trusted dimension stone fabricator.
