General Production AssociateLocation: Lakeland, FL Schedule: All Shifts Available Pay Rate: $15.00/hourJob Summary: The General Production Associate is an entry-level role responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations. Team members rotate through multiple production positions to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality products, and safe plant operations. This role is essential to meeting production goals while maintaining strict standards for safety, food safety, and quality.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect products continuously to ensure all quality standards are metRemove damaged or defective products, baskets, or materials and properly store or dispose of themPerform visual inspections of packaging for accuracy, seal integrity, and code/date complianceStack cartons or trays onto pallets/skids using proper patternsSafely operate pallet jacks to move finished goodsAssist operators, utilities, and other production staff to maintain line efficiencyClean and maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and housekeeping standardsFollow all Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), plant policies, and food safety proceduresCommunicate effectively with teammates and leadership to ensure smooth shift transitionsParticipate in cross-training to support flexibility across production areasIdentify and report safety, quality, or productivity issues to support continuous improvementPerform additional duties as assigned to meet operational needsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAbility to read, write, and understand EnglishStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentWillingness to rotate tasks and adapt to changing prioritiesPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods (812 hours per shift)Frequent turning, grasping, and reachingOccasional lifting of 230 poundsContinuous visual focus to monitor product quality and equipment operationWork environment includes moderate noise levels, temperature-controlled areas, and potential exposure to slippery floors and dust from dry ingredientsOvertime, weekends, and flexible shifts may be required based on production needsWhy Join Us?Entry-level opportunity with training and cross-skillingTeam-based work environmentStable manufacturing role with growth potentialApply today to join a team committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
