Project Engineer – Civil (Infrastructure & Utilities)Location: Houston, TexasSalary: $90,000 – $120,000 (dependent on experience)Job Type: Full-TimePSR Talent Solutions are partnering with a leading civil engineering consultancy to recruit a Project Engineer – Civil (Infrastructure & Utilities) to support the delivery of complex infrastructure and utility-focused projects across the Houston region.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious civil engineer to take the next step in their career, working alongside senior engineers and project managers on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, utilities, drainage, and site development projects.What’s on OfferCompetitive salary package dependent on experienceClear progression pathway toward Project Manager and PE licensureExposure to major infrastructure and utilities projects across TexasStrong mentorship from senior engineering and project leadership teamsSupportive, collaborative working environmentProfessional development support, including FE/PE licensure assistanceHybrid or flexible working arrangements (project dependent)Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of civil engineering infrastructure and utilities projects from design through constructionAssist in the coordination of drainage, water, wastewater, and site development elementsPrepare and review technical documentation including RFIs, submittals, and design drawingsWork closely with design teams, contractors, and external consultants to ensure project alignmentConduct site visits and assist with construction phase support and inspectionsSupport project scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting activitiesEnsure compliance with local authority and Texas engineering standardsContribute to problem-solving across design and construction phasesAssist senior engineers in maintaining quality assurance and delivery standardsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)3-6 years of civil engineering experience (infrastructure, utilities, or site development preferred)EIT certification preferred or actively working toward FE/PE licensureProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design softwareStrong understanding of civil design and construction processesExcellent communication and coordination skillsBased in Houston or willing to relocatePreferred QualificationsExperience in infrastructure, utilities, drainage, or land development projectsExposure to municipal or DOT-related standardsStrong interest in progressing toward Project Manager or PE statusPrevious consultancy or internship experience in civil engineeringFamiliarity with design coordination and construction support workflowsPlease note that any offer of employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of applicable pre-employment background checks and verification.PSR Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
