We're seeking a Maintenance Assistant who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance and repair on facility equipment, furnishings, and groundsFollow established safety protocols and maintenance proceduresComplete and maintain timely work ordersMaintain clean, safe, and serviceable equipmentPerform regularly scheduled maintenance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, seasonal)Safely store and handle hazardous materialsAssist with painting and upkeep of the facilityImmediately report and correct unsafe conditions or defective equipmentCoordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions to operationsBe available for emergency facility needs as requiredCarry out other duties as assigned by the Maintenance DirectorRequired Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a maintenance technicianStrong knowledge of general maintenance processes and OSHA regulationsFamiliarity with tools, appliances, and devices used in facility maintenanceManual dexterity and strong problem-solving abilitiesPhysically capable of lifting 50 lbs., bending, twisting, and standing for long periodsStrong experience and skill in paintingValid driver's license in good standingHigh school diploma or equivalentSchedule:Full-Time8-hour shiftWhat We Offer:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceVoluntary BenefitsSick and Vacation Time PackageHoliday PayTuition ReimbursementInternal Growth OpportunitiesEmployee Assistance ProgramNEW!
