As a full‑time MES consultant, you will provide consulting services to the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. You will work on project teams to assist with the implementation of manufacturing software and perform roles in the software development life cycle, including programming, project management, software validation and unit testing. In addition, you will work closely with clients and internal team members. When not at a client, you will perform development or validation activities for our OpsTrakker mobile app.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist with the implementation of MES software packages such as POMS/POMSnet, PharmaSuite, Emerson Syncade, Korber PAS‑X, OpsCenter, Tulip, Tempo, or other MES tools used in life sciences.
Gather user requirements, develop software code, execute test protocols, and perform unit testing.
Participate in project management and software validation activities.
Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to deliver solutions.
Perform development or validation work for the OpsTrakker mobile app.
Travel and location:
Occasional travel to client sites (30–65% of time depending on project).
Remote work available from the United States, Puerto Rico, Ireland, France, Germany, and Türkiye.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
Understanding of the software development life cycle and experience with phases such as user requirements gathering, software coding, and test protocol execution.
Experience working with Biotech/Pharmaceutical manufacturing systems.
Authoring/implementation experience with MES software packages (POMS/POMSnet, PharmaSuite, Emerson Syncade, Korber PAS‑X, OpsCenter, Tulip, Tempo, or similar).
Ability to travel to client sites when required.
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Integrity, positive customer service orientation, and ability to learn multidisciplinary skills quickly.
