Machine Shop Supervisor

The company is now 100 percent employee owned and candidates who stay with the company for the long term will receive shares in the company over time as part of the retirement benefits package.Integrated Magnetics is looking for a machine shop supervisor for first and second shift to manage a growing machine shop in Tucson, AZ with 40 plus CNC controlled machines including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines and reporting to the operations manager. The supervisor will manage the machining process that produces magnets, electro-mechanical assemblies, and magnetic assemblies to the highest quality government standards. The supervisor will provide leadership to ensure overall financial, quality and support goals are upheld. The machine shop supervisor will be working for first shift from 7:30 AM 4:30 PM or for second shift from 4:00 PM to midnight and overtime as needed.Qualifications:10 plus years of machining experience with CNC controlled lathes and mills, with programming and setup experienceBasic knowledge of operation of CNC surface, ID/OD grinders and EDM machinesMastercam/SolidWorks software experience is a plusProven management experience of machine shop is a plusExperience with understanding engineering drawings with GD&TExperience with lean manufacturing practicesBackground with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systemSuperb communication skills with verbal and written instructionEducation:High School Diploma, Associates Degree plusIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).Company DescriptionIntegrated Magnetics is a custom engineering company dealing with state of the art technologies as related to military, government, space/aerospace, semiconductor, and medical programs and products.
