The role involves performing molecular biology testing, genomic sequencing, troubleshooting sequencing assays, maintaining laboratory instruments, and supporting high-complexity laboratory operations.Required Skills• BA/BS in Biological Science or related field• Experience with NGS (Next Generation Sequencing)• Experience using Illumina or PacBIO instruments• Knowledge of PCR, MALDI-TOF, and molecular biology techniques• Minimum 2 years of high-complexity laboratory experience• Understanding of CLIA regulations and laboratory safety procedures• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skillsResponsibilities• Perform molecular and microbiology laboratory testing• Extract nucleic acids from clinical and environmental samples• Validate and implement new testing methods• Troubleshoot sequencing assays and laboratory instruments• Maintain quality control and laboratory documentation• Analyze and report test results• Follow laboratory safety and PPE requirementThanks & Regards
