Internal Auditor Mapleton, ILWe are looking for a Internal Auditor to join the Quality Management team in Mapleton, IL. This is an onsite, 12-month contract opportunity supporting internal quality audits, CQMS gap analysis, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced foundry and machining environment.Location: Mapleton, ILSchedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMDuration: 12 monthsStart Date: August 31, 2026Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and conduct internal quality audits.Support CQMS gap analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.Generate reports on quality status and trends.Identify, analyze, and resolve non-conformances.Collaborate with the Quality Management team and cross-functional stakeholders.Develop and maintain quality documentation and reporting.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering.2+ years of relevant quality engineering/auditing experience.Internal Auditing Certification – Required.Experience auditing ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or CQMS preferred.Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.PreferredCQA certificationLead Auditor experienceManufacturing, foundry, or machining environment experience.#QualityEngineer #TestEngineer #QualityJobs #EngineeringJobs #InternalAuditor #ISO9001 #CQA #ManufacturingJobs #Caterpillar #MapletonIL #IllinoisJobs
