About The Role~As a Systems Administrator, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that allows us to advance the way the world pays, banks and invests. You’ll be responsible for deploying new technologies as well as ensuring system performance.About The Team~FIS Managed IT group provides support and implementation solutions to customers throughout the U.S. Our engineers work to provide support, design solutions, hardware systems, and provide top-tier customer service. This specific role will focus on customers in the Miami, Florida region.What You Will Be Doing~Will be supporting our banking clients within 3 hours of drivable distance around Troy, AL. Mileage for required travel is reimbursableSupport escalations from engineers for day to day and projectsServer as the subject matter expert of customer environments in your regionProvide technical leadership and mentoring for other engineers on your teamManage and maintain customer server environments both in our hosted platform and on-premise (remotely)Manage and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and ADC (NetScaler)M365 Migrations and AdministrationAzure AdministrationServer Builds and application deploymentsAudit remediations for workstation and server environmentsWorking with various teams and managed incident management teams to resolve support escalations and outagesPlanning out configuration ready for installation for solutionsProactive maintenance of the hosted systemsExpand platforms as necessary and refine processes for better environment performanceWhat You Will Need~Proven experience performing systems engineering and administration with large scale systemsExtensive VMWare and virtualization skills, preferably VMware certified but not requiredExperience with PowerShell scripting to manage hosted infrastructureExperience with server hardware, for example Hypervisor or ESXI server buildsExtensive experience with MS server 2012, 2016 and 2019 operating systemsExperience with Active Directory integrationStrong independent analytical troubleshooting skills to identify issues that could cross multiple business areas and technologiesTCP/IP, network monitoring and tools and technical writing principles and practicesStrong sense of customer focus, ownership, urgency, and driveStrong understanding of SSL, Internet (SMTP, LDAP, DNS) and other networking protocolsExperience with deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting multi-tier applicationsExcellent communication and follow-up skills, paying strong attention to detailProfessional and responsible attitude with the ability to work without supervisionProven experience working within SLA’s, change management processes, and an ITIL v3 frameworkFluent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsAdded Bonus If You Have~Experience in Linux Administration will be a plus but not requiredAzure Foundations and AdministrationM365 Administration Experience (tenant management and hardening, Security, Intune, etc.)CCNAOther Tools Experience~ SCCM, WDS, WVD, iBoss, Crowdstrike, IIS, BigFix, ServiceNow, etcWhat We Offer You~At FIS, we hire the best.
