If you are passionate about palliative care, providing support to patients and their families, this role may be the ideal fit.Position Details:Position Type: Full-time, providing stability and professional growth.Hospital Setting: Join a 231-bed regional referral hospital, contributing to the well-being of the community.Electronic Medical Records: Utilize Epic EMR for efficient patient care and record-keeping.Inpatient and Outpatient Integration: Participate in a vibrant inpatient program, with the outpatient practice located in the same department as the Geriatrics Practice.Call Rotation: Engage in an inpatient weekend call rotation, ensuring comprehensive patient care.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm), offering a balanced and predictable schedule.Collaborative Role: Serve as the primary collaborative physician for two Palliative Care Inpatient NPs and a NP specializing in transitional care within the outpatient clinic.Alternative Collaboration: Act as an alternative collaborative physician for two NPs focusing on geriatric medicine within the outpatient clinic.Medical Equipment: Utilize advanced medical equipment, including EKG machines, Sophia-Flu, Covid Reader, and A1C testing.Experience: Apply your experience with working alongside APPs and managing end-of-life and chronic illnesses.Compassionate Care: Demonstrate compassion for ill patients and their families, contributing to a supportive healthcare environment.Qualifications:Board Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Palliative Care.Experience: Previous experience in inpatient and outpatient palliative care medicine is desired.Licensure: Hold an Indiana Medical License to practice medicine in the state.Certifications: Maintain BLS/ACLS certifications to ensure patient safety.Community and Job Environment:Location: Near SAINT PAUL, IN, providing a strategic and convenient location in Indiana.Job ID: j-202241If you are a compassionate and experienced Palliative Care Physician seeking a meaningful opportunity in a vibrant healthcare setting, we encourage you to apply.
