Perinatal Clinician

RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and case managersAssess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for all clients, including knowledge of medication-assisted treatment optionsDevelop measurable, client-centered treatment goalsProvide trauma-informed, person-centered care using evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, CBT, and harm reductionIdentify and connect clients to appropriate community resources (e.g., treatment programs, AA/NA, mental health supports)Educate clients on harm reduction, overdose prevention (including naloxone), infection risk reduction, and HIV prevention strategiesSupport women and families through the childbearing process by assessing strengths and challengesAssist with accessing long-term supportive servicesPromote healthy parent-child relationshipsAdvocate for clients within healthcare and community settingsFacilitate individual and group therapy for peripartum womenMaintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with applicable guidelinesEnsure confidentiality in accordance with legal and professional standardsAddress systemic factors impacting client functioningManage client safety concerns and emergencies appropriatelyParticipate in supervision, training, and staff meetingsMaintain accurate and timely documentationFollow all organizational policies and proceduresParticipate in quality improvement initiativesSchedule/ShiftMonday–Friday, ~8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
