Overview In this role you will contribute to native Android development with Java, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable mobile apps. You will optimize device compatibility across phones and tablets while implementing modern UI and efficient patterns. You’ll work in a global delivery environment, interfacing with clients and adopting CI workflows to maintain quality and velocity. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Android applications using Java and Android lifecycle conceptsTarget multiple devices and OS versions with responsive UI and animationsCollaborate with team members and clients to gather requirements and provide updatesMaintain and integrate third-party libraries (retrofit, butterknife, Picasso) and UI componentsUse CI tools and version control (Git, Bitbucket, JIRA) to support continuous deliveryImplement efficient garbage collection, design patterns, and RxJava where applicable Key requirements3+ years of Java and Android development experience2+ years with Android Studio and Gradle1+ year using CI tools; experience with Git, Bitbucket, JIRA3+ years targeting multiple Android devices across manufacturers and OS versions2+ years with Android UI components, layouts, and animationsExperience with RxJava is a plusAbility to work in a team and engage with clientsAnalytical skills; experience in a Global delivery environmentteam collaborationclient interfacinganalytical thinkingJavaAndroidAndroid Studio
