Software Developer - Java Engineer (Local to Georgia)
Title: Java Software Developer + Strong in Coding & Core Java
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite/Week)
Preference: Local to Georgia, who can come F2F for final round
Duration:
11+ Months (possibilities of extension)"Candidate should be In-Person for the final F2F Interview"
Core Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and deliver robust, scalable server-side applications using J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate.
Collaborate daily with global Product Owners, Business Analysts, and IT partners in an Agile/DevOps environment.
Ensure system architecture aligns with enterprise integration standards and platform strategies.
Estimate, prioritize, and participate in sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
Practice Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit and JProfiler for code quality and performance optimization.
Technical Requirements:
Core Technologies: Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate/ORM, RESTful & SOAP Web Services, Apache Tomcat.
Data & Messaging: SQL (Sybase/DB2 preferred), XML, XPath, XSLT, JSON.Frontend & OS: Fundamental knowledge of UI frameworks (Angular, React, JS) and Unix/Linux environments.
Methodologies & Tools: Agile, DevOps, TDD, JIRA, profiling tools (JProfiler/JProbe), and exposure to AI tools/models.
Qualifications & Industry Knowledge
Education:
Minimum Bachelor’s (BS/BE) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Domain Exposure: Knowledge of Financial Markets, Banking, or Wealth Management.
