Our teams help clients move faster, align better, and execute smarter—always with a people-first approach and a focus on building capabilities that last.This is a full-time consulting opportunity where you’ll collaborate with a talented, experienced team of consultants delivering meaningful work for leading financial services clients.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Financial Systems Lead to join our team and support financial services clients in optimizing and managing enterprise finance platforms, with a strong focus on Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM environments.This role sits at the intersection of Finance and Technology—owning system stability, integrations, governance, and continuous improvement—while serving as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders across Accounting, FP&A, and Technology teams.You’ll play a key role in both day-to-day operational excellence and longer-term transformation initiatives, helping clients modernize their financial systems, improve data quality, and drive better decision-making.What You’ll DoLead end-to-end support and optimization of Oracle financial systems (ERP & EPM), ensuring stability, scalability, and performance Act as a technical SME and advisor across Finance and Technology stakeholders Translate business needs into technical solutions, system configurations, and integrations Oversee and coordinate third-party or offshore support teams, ensuring SLA adherence and delivery quality Design, build, and maintain integrations and data flows across Oracle platforms and adjacent systems Manage ETL processes, data reconciliation, and system integrity across environments Partner with Finance teams to enhance reporting, analytics, and data accessibility Support and lead system upgrades, quarterly releases, and testing cycles Establish and enforce governance, controls, and documentation standards Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and system utilization Provide visibility into system health, risks, and roadmap priorities to client leadership Support training, adoption, and knowledge transfer to ensure long-term sustainability What We’re Looking ForExperience supporting or leading financial systems in complex enterprise environments, ideally within financial services Strong hands-on expertise with: Oracle Fusion ERP (GL, AP, etc.) Oracle EPM (EPBCS, EDM, EPMCS/EPCM) Experience with integrations, data architecture, and ETL processes Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes (FP&A, close, reporting, etc.) Experience managing production environments, upgrades, and system releases Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive root cause analysis + resolution Strong communication skills—comfortable translating between technical and business audiences Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities Consulting experience or comfort operating in a client-facing, advisory role is a plus Why EmberFull-time W2 consultant model with benefits, stability, and long-term growth Opportunity to work on high-impact engagements across leading financial services organizations A chance to be part of an entrepreneurial, growing firm—not just executing work, but helping build something Strong emphasis on people-first culture, collaboration, and relationships Exposure to senior client leadership and strategic initiatives Opportunity to step into leadership roles and shape future engagements as we scale Location & TravelCharlotte-based preferredOccasional travel or on-site presence may be required based on client needs
