Ironworker Foreman
Looking for an Ironworker foreman to handle projects ranging anywhere from 15k to 1 million. We primarily do structural steel fabrication/erection with everything ranging from powder coated architectural features to 2/3 story ground up commercial buildings. We currently employ about 10 people in the shop/field, and constantly switch between the shop and the field. More field heavy for this position, but cross functionality is a plus. If you have not spent much time in the shop, that is alright.
Must be able to read blueprints, problem solve, know when to ask questions, run a crew of 2-5 people, know all processes such as torch cutting, arc gouging, welding, etc. Must know how to coordinate with other trades and general contractor employees and have open communication lines.
Must show up on time, be able to use our scheduling and clock in apps, coordinate with employees regarding manpower issues, etc.
We offer paid time off and a flat travel rate if you are driving a company truck to a jobsite, all parking in Austin will be reimbursed and a company card for Gas purchases will be issued.
