Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in Body and Chassis design within the automotive or commercial vehicle domain. This role requires hands-on expertise in Siemens NX and a solid understanding of structural design and manufacturing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop body/chassis components and structural systemsCreate 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using Siemens NXPerform design calculations and support structural validation (FEA preferred)Apply DFM, DFA, DFMEA, and PFMEA methodologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, suppliers)Support prototype builds, testing, and production launchesEnsure designs meet quality, safety, and manufacturability standardsRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in automotive / truck / trailer / heavy vehicle designStrong expertise in Body/Chassis engineeringHands-on experience with Siemens NXKnowledge of sheet metal, welded assemblies, and structural componentsExperience with DFMEA, PFMEA, DFA, DFMUnderstanding of manufacturing processes (stamping, welding, fabrication)Exposure to FEA tools (preferred)Preferred QualificationsExperience in commercial vehicles or trailer designFamiliarity with PLM tools (Teamcenter)Strong problem-solving and communication skills
