This position requires someone comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor yard environment handling lumber and building materials. Candidates must be able to read a tape measure accurately and lift heavy materials as part of daily duties.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a forklift safely to move, load, and unload lumber and building materialsRead and measure materials using a tape measure accuratelyPull and stage orders for shipment or customer pickupLoad trucks and organize materials in the yardAssist with general yard duties as neededFollow all safety guidelines and company procedures Requirements Previous lumber yard experience is requiredPrevious forklift operating experience requiredAbility to read a tape measure accuratelyAbility to lift heavy materials repeatedly throughout the shiftComfortable working in an outdoor yard environmentReliable transportation and strong work ethicSchedule Monday - Friday6:00 AM - 2:30 PMPossible Saturdays depending on workloadMeet Your Recruiter
