Material Handler - 3rd Shift

Material HandlerDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Material Handlers for a leading supplier of small, molded parts located in Delano, MN. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Material Handler:Re-enter unused materials, inserts, and related items into inventory using the material transaction log and complete transaction in the computer to reflect correct amountsEmpty grinders throughout shiftClean all types of dryers and related itemsPrepare materials using the schedule as a guide to pull material from inventoryFind material using a computer to locate, issue/pull (FIFO) first in first out methodDetermine the correct size of dryer as neededInventory raw materials, dyes, and inserts, a minimum of once per week or frequency stated by supervisorComplete scheduled tasks set up by supervisor, including Cycle counting, Motan maintenance, and special tasksClean all types of grinders and placement of grinders at pressesWhat You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodationWillingness to wear required PPE (hair net, beard net, bump hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed shoes, rubber shoes, respirator)Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift with or without reasonable accommodationsWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
