Audio Visual Sales Executive

WE ARE HIRING!!!Audio Visual Sales Executive - New York (Hybrid)We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Audio Visual (AV) Sales Executive to drive new business development and expand existing client relationships within the commercial audiovisual industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying, developing, and closing AV integration opportunities while building long-term relationships with key decision-makers.This role requires a consultative sales approach, strong business acumen, and the ability to understand client needs and translate them into innovative AV technology solutions. The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, strategic, and capable of managing opportunities from initial prospecting through project completion.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreach.Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, consultants, architects, general contractors, and technology stakeholders.Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, solution development, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing.Identify client business objectives and recommend tailored audiovisual and unified communications solutions that align with their goals.Conduct professional presentations and solution demonstrations for executive-level stakeholders and decision-makers.Collaborate with engineering, design, project management, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.Maintain and grow existing accounts through proactive relationship management and account development strategies.Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging AV technologies to identify new business opportunities.Participate in industry associations, trade shows, networking events, and professional organizations.Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and CRM documentation.Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to a collaborative team environment.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.Minimum of 3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience within the commercial audiovisual, AV integration, unified communications, or related technology industries.Proven ability to identify, engage, and build relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover client needs and develop customized solutions.Experience managing complex sales opportunities with multiple stakeholders.Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.Strong organizational, forecasting, and time management abilities.Proficiency with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.Preferred:Experience selling AV integration, video conferencing, collaboration, digital signage, control systems, or related technology solutions.Knowledge of manufacturers such as Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure, Logitech, Poly, Cisco, or Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions.AV installation, integration, project management, or live event experience.CTS certification or other AV industry certifications.Challenger Sales Training or similar consultative sales methodologies.Manufacturer certifications and industry-specific training.
