Primary Purpose / FunctionThe goal is to assist in the development and implementation of a family engagement plan, for the purpose of achieving and maintaining high levels of family involvement and positive family attitudes towards education.QualificationsEducation/Certification:Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in social work or closely related fieldSpecial Knowledge/SkillsGeneral knowledge of parent education programsKnowledge of social services available from various agenciesExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsBilingual PreferredAbility to handle multiple responsibilitiesPatient and calm demeanor with othersExperiencePrior teaching or social service work experience preferred
