Assistant Head Teller BARABOO STATE BANK 101 Third Ave, Baraboo, WI 53913 Full-time Job Summary: Baraboo State Bank is seeking an individual to join our banking team in the role of Assistant Head Teller. The Assistant Head Teller provides support to the Head Teller to ensure that branch operations run smoothly. The Assistant Head Teller is someone who has good judgement, attention to detail, organizational skills, as well as the ability to supervise and mentor staff. Duties/Responsibilities: · Train and mentor teller staff to ensure all bank transactions and activities are preformed in accordance with all financial policies, procedures, and regulations · Assist with scheduling and supervising teller staff · Supervises ATM and vault operations and procedures · Preforms duties of Head Teller in her/his absence · Works to meet branch performance standards including operating loss control, bank secrecy, and compliance with policies and procedures. · Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner · Process customer transactions (cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, etc.) accurately and efficiently · Maintain and balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies · Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate bank services · Build and maintain customer loyalty by providing excellent customer service · Maintains a work area that ensures the safety of all negotiables and confidential records · Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: · Excellent verbal communication skills · Excellent managerial skills · Neat and accurate workmanship · Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills · Self-motivated and resourceful · Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity · Thorough understanding of customer service Education and Experience: · High school diploma or equivalent is required. · Previous managerial experience preferred · 2+ years of previous banking experience preferred · Basic Microsoft Office skills Physical Requirements: · May require lifting bags/boxes of coin weighing up to 50 pounds · May require standing for extended periods of time · May require bending and stooping HOURS: · 40 hours per week (full-time) · Monday – Friday, some Saturdays as needed Salary: · Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
