Outside Sales Representive

Outside Sales RepresentativeCarpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for an Outside Sales Representative to work out of our Corona, CA location, but working the surrounding areas. This position achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account insight within a multi-state territory in the northeast. Identifies solid market segment by effectively selling the company's catalog and engineered pipe supports, as well our engineered designs and project management related to infrastructure projects. This sales position will also be responsible for personally contacting and securing new business accounts and customers.Essential Duties:Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in order to generate new business for the organization's products and servicesRespond to prospective customer inquiries and requests for quotationsPerform business development calls, presentations, and related follow upConsult with builders on industrial building projects to ensure ideal placement of productIdentify new business opportunities within distribution, end user targets, and large industrial projectsTrain end users on C&P's products and servicesSupport existing product lines by fielding technical questions from customersDirect customer interface - daily as well as one to two nights a week - overnight travel is requiredBecome technically proficient in customers' applications as well as gain knowledge of new uses for existing productsParticipates in trade shows and conventionsOther duties as assignedIdeal Candidate:Sales experience in pipe hangers, engineered pipe supports, industrial construction, wastewater projects, or other relative construction is a plusA commitment to our culture of teamwork and collaboration is essentialMust have a valid driver's license and a good driving recordGood organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate solid sales strategy system.Above average verbal and written communicationHours: 8:00am-5:00pmBenefit Highlights:Weekly payCompetitive salary compensation8 Paid HolidaysPaid Time OffLow affordable rates for Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance as well other benefits such as 401k with company matching, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Life InsuranceGrowth OpportunitiesC&P specializes in the manufacture and distribution of a complete line of pipe hangers and supports for commercial and industrial applications since 1913.
