Personal Injury Attorney – Clifton, NJ LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney at least 5 years of experience. The ideal Candidate will be experienced in personal injury litigation and primarily collaborate with trial attorneys as well as conducting depositions, legal research and writing to support legal proceedings. The candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable working autonomously while relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized.ResponsibilitiesReview and draft routine legal documents and conduct legal researchCreate and maintain case files and be able to handle cases from inception to trialMaintain Court Calendar/Docket as neededAttend and handle depositions (personal injury claims)Attend and handle Court hearings and proceedings as neededAssist and meet with clients and maintain valued relationships with internal and external vendorsFacilitate organization strategies to meet Court deadlines efficientlyParticipate in fact investigation and the negotiation of legal disputesAdhere to HIPAA and other state and federal compliance regulations/lawsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree RequiredJ.D. from an accredited law school requiredBarred in New Jersey and in good standing with the Bar AssociationBilingual in English/Spanish is a plus Prior personal injury litigation experienceFamiliarity with Pennsylvania and New Jersey Court systemsFamiliarity with e-discovery tools and legal databasesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesKnowledge of standard MS Office Suite and Legal Research Search EnginesCompensationThis posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients.
